On monday 5th july the 8a social studies students celebrated american independence day. While eating our american style hot dogs we learnt more about the revolutionary war. One of our schools parents from the usa, miss mary, enthusiastically taught us more about their fight against the british. She shared insight also into why the 4th of july is so special for americans. Thanks. A delicious and informative afternoon was shared by all!
