El 24 de junio, el Sr. Gastón Ramirez, nos acompañó presentando a
los 1ros Básicos su enorme talento. Este trimestre los alumnos están
descubriendo sus talentos individuales a esta edad. El Sr. Ramirez es un
cantante de ópera que tiene una activa vida artística en nuestra
ciudad. Él les explicó a los alumnos que la música era como las
matemáticas; si no sabías matemáticas es posible que no pudieras leer
música por lo que era muy importante que ellos siguieran educándose.
Él contó que había sido bailarín y cantante, pero luego se dio
cuenta que tenía un buen oído musical y se convirtió en cantante de
opera. Esta actividad es un hobby para él, ya que él es ingeniero de
profesión.
Los niños cantaban los coros de canciones famosos mientras el
cantaba los versos de la canción. Los niños disfrutaron la visita de Mr.
Ramirez y algunos comentaban a la profesora de lo increíble que había
sido este evento.
On June 24th,
2014, Mr. Gaston Soto Ramirez, came to present to the grade 1 classes about his
talent. The students are trying to discover this trimester what their unique
talents are at this age. Mr. Ramirez is an Opera
singer and you can hear him at many social events in town. He told the students that ‘music is like math,
if you can’t read math then you may not be able to read music.’ So basically
they should continue their education.
He said
that he was a dancer and a singer but later he found out he had a good ear for
music so he became an opera singer. What a marvelous voice he has. Being an
opera singer is just a hobby for him, Mr. Ramirez is an engineer by profession.
He had the
children singing the chorus of a famous song while he sang the verses. The
children enjoyed Mr. Ramirez visit and some students told the teacher he was awesome!
