The newly established Lower School Student Council 2011 recently finished a campaign to collect money to help the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan. They held a Jeans Day on Friday, March 25th and a Bake Sale during the Kick-Off Party on March 26th. All together, they collected $270,000 Chilean pesos. This money was donated to the Red Cross through their website. Thank you to all of the students, parents, and AIS staff who contributed to this great cause.
El recién establecido STUCO de Lower School 2011 llevó a cabo una campaña para reunir fondos en ayuda de las víctimas del terremoto y tsunami de Japón. Organizaron un Jeans Day el viernes 25 de marzo y también una venta de pastelitos durante la Inaguración del año Escolar el sábado 26 de marzo. Lograron reunir la cantidad de $270.000 pesos que fueron donados a la Cruz Roja a través de su sitio web. Agradecemos a los alumnos, padres y staff del AIS que contribuyeron a esta noble causa.
