Estimados Padres y Apoderados / Dear Parents and Guardians :
Hoy terminamos la Campaña Solidaria con un Jeans Day para ayudar a la gente de Somalía que está sufriendo por la terrible hambruna. Además de esta actividad durante la semana las integrantes del Student Council del Lower School hicieron un Bake Sale.
Nos sentimos orgullosos de la organización, iniciativa y espíritu de solidaridad que vimos en cada uno de nuestros niños y que nació espontáneamente de ellos para poder contribuir con su humilde aporte que irá en ayuda de los miles de habitantes del Cuerno de África.
Today we finished our Campaign with a Jeans Day and all the funds collected will go to the people in Somalia. Also, I would like to congratulate the Lower School Student Council for organizing a Bake Sale with excellent results.
We feel really proud of our students´ initiative and their spirit of solidarity so as to help out other people who are suffering far away from them in the Horn of Africa.
